Conveniently located in the Seneca Harbor Marina in Watkins Glen, we offer daily rentals of Perception and Wilderness System kayaks. Rent a kayak for the day or just a few hours, and paddle on beautiful and serene Seneca Lake. Or explore its waterways with a guided tour of Seneca Lake.

Our hourly kayaks and paddle boards are available on a first come, first served basis. Please call for kayak or paddle board guided tour reservations.
Single Kayak- $18.00/hour
Double Kayak- $30.00/hour
Paddle board- $20.00/hour
*We will close the kayak shack or cancel a tour if there is inclement weather or as we deem necessary.
All rentals and tours include PFD’s and paddles.

Canal Paddle Tour: Departing from our lakeside location in Watkins Glen, your tour will head down the canal way towards Catherine Creek surrounded by Catherine Creek Marsh. You will then have the opportunity to encounter a vast array of wildlife: deer, beaver, muskrat, foxes, turtles, frogs and countless birds. The scenery makes this kayak tour a nature lovers paradise. Enjoy the solitude of this hidden Finger Lakes gem.
Seneca Lake Paddle: Here you will enjoy a paddle down the canal, where you will encounter blue herons, king fishers, deer and beaver…just to name a few. As you leave the canal and its marinas, you will enter the crystal waters of Seneca Lake. Here you will have the opportunity to paddle past the Painted Rocks, Hector Falls, and Watkins Glen Marina Park.
Learn to Paddle Board-Stand up Paddle Board Lessons
Paddle boarding has quickly become a very popular water sport, as it becomes more mainstream, the desire to learn to paddle board has increased. The Finger Lakes are a great place to learn to paddle board, and Summit to Stream Adventures now offers lessons!
Our paddle board lessons can be taught one on one, or in a group session. Each session consists of one hour of instruction, followed by an hour of free-paddle time. The instructor will teach you the basics of paddle boarding, starting with getting on the board, how to position yourself on the board, and paddling technique.
Single person instruction $60 per session, each additional person is $50. If more than one hour of instruction is needed it will be charged at an extra $ 20/ hour per person.
