The spawing run has begun in the Salmon river in Pulaski and we have begun our season of guided fly fishing trips for these magnificant fish. Soon the fish will be filling the other lake Ontario tributaries that we fish such as Maxwell Creek, Bear creek , Webster creek and Irondaquiot creek. Soon the Finger Lakes tributaries will also begin there runs of Brown trout and Atlantic salmon. October and November are excellent times to be on the water. Seneca Lake Atlantic Salmon fishing

Had a great day out on Seneca Lake fishing for Atlantic Salmon. The lake was calm to start with the water temperatur at 61 degrees. The fish were steady all day hitting spoons and flasher flies from 8 ft down to 60ft. We found fish from 60 fow to 200 fow. As the wind picked up so did the waves but that did not stop the fish. Another great day a Seneca lake!

Nine Mile Creek Fly fishing

We hit Nine Mile Creek in Marcellus for a day of fly fishing recently. The water was high but that didn’t stop our clients enjoyment. We fished wooly buggers, Streamers and bead head nymphs in pools and tail outs. It was our first time fishing this water and we are looking forward to more trips to Nine Mile in the future.

Charter Fishing On Keuka Lake

100_4188  We have been busy fishing Keuka lake the last few weeks and it has not disappointed! The Lakers have been hitting  at all depths down to 90 ft. They have hit on everything from spoons, flasher flies and Challenger minnows. We fished with return clients as well as new and all trips have been very enjoyable.

Seneca Lake Charter

100_4174 A Beautiful day fishing Seneca Lake! The big Browns did not disappoint, they were hitting on Challenger minnows fished off planer boards over 40′ of water!

Charter fishing on Keuka lake

Keuka lake is a favorite among fisherman for its excellent fishing and diversity. This 20 mile long lake has Lake Trout, Rainbows,Salmon, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass. In the summer months the north branches are excellent for Smallmouth and largemouth. The trout fishing is most productive from the bluff south. We like to cast texas rigged worms along with spinner baits and tubes for bass. For trout we troll with flasher fly combinations along with spoons and Challenger minnows.
